Who we are

How Long Did You Wait? is run by Michael Marsden, 3 Stonetec Park. You can contact us at hello@howlongdidyouwait.co.uk. We are independent and not part of the NHS.

What we collect

• Your email address.
• The first part of your postcode, such as HU5. We do not keep your full postcode.
• The date and time you signed up and confirmed.
• A scrambled version of your internet address, kept only to stop automated sign-ups. We cannot turn it back into your address.

Why we collect it

To send you one email when the site launches in your area. We rely on your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming your email address.

Who sees it

Nobody outside Michael Marsden and the company that hosts this website. We never sell or pass on your details.

How long we keep it

Until we have sent the launch email for your area, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.

Cookies and fonts

This site sets one cookie, which is needed to keep the sign-up form secure. It holds no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser. We use no tracking or advertising cookies. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your internet address when the page loads.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
