Log a wait

In an emergency call 999. This form is for waits that are over or still running. Nothing you enter here is passed to the police.

Good or bad, every wait counts. A quick wait tells us as much as a slow one.

Date you reported it

The day you first contacted the police about this, by phone, online or in person.

How did it end?

I gave up waiting.

I'm still waiting. Start my clock. We'll email about once a month to ask if you're still waiting.

How many different people or departments did you have to explain it to? (optional)

Enter 1 if the first person you spoke to dealt with it.

Were you told an officer would attend? (optional)

The police do not attend every report. This shows whether they did what they said they would.

Postcode area it relates to (optional)

The first part only, such as HU5. It lets us show waits by area.

Your email

Only to confirm you're a real person. Never published or passed on.

I agree to this wait being stored and used in combined figures for this police force, as set out in the privacy notice. It says that I contacted the police, and I can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Dates and numbers only. We never ask what happened, who was involved or which officer you dealt with.
