The latest figures, September 2026. Coloured against England: ▼ worse ● about the same ▲ better.
Official monthly figures. Urgent treatment centres are compared with every centre in England. Centres run by a hospital trust are counted with the trust, so they are not shown on their own. The waits people are timing today are below. The NHS plan for 2026-27 sets lower goals on the way, such as 82% for A&E, an average of 25 minutes for ambulance emergencies and 70% for hospital waits.

Figures come from people timing their own wait on this site, not from the NHS. This timer is not monitored and does not alert staff. A place where nobody is timing may still be busy. When only one or two people are behind a figure it is rounded and marked as a rough guide.
Opening hours can change. Check with NHS 111 before you set off. Hours come from the organisation that runs each place, checked 14 October 2026: Goole and District Hospital.
Before you decide where to go
- A&E is for emergencies. Such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, signs of a stroke, or a serious injury. Don't go elsewhere to save time.
- Urgent treatment centres deal with urgent problems that are not life-threatening, such as sprains, suspected broken bones, minor burns and infections.
- Seen in order of need. A short wait for others does not mean a short wait for you. People with the most serious problems are seen first.
- Already waiting? Don't go somewhere else without speaking to the staff first, and tell them straight away if you feel worse. NHS 111 can advise you.
- NHS 111 can tell you the right place to go, and can often book you a time at an urgent treatment centre.
Waiting now? Time it.
Tap "I'm here" when you arrive and stop it when you leave. It shows the next person what today is really like, and you get your own record of the wait.
